Whitecaps FC and BC Soccer announce EA SPORTS BC Soccer Premier League sponsorship
“EA SPORTS is a great partner that supports the development of our sport at all levels,” said Whitecaps FC chief executive officer Paul Barber. “We are pleased to help bring together EA SPORTS and BC Soccer. Combined, we’ll form an integrated team that will collaborate to create the most effective soccer development programs in Canada.”

Press Release - The Burnaby / North Shore HPL Franchise announces new Club name: Mountain United FC
The Burnaby / North Shore HPL Franchise will be known as Mountain United Football Club. Our name combines the united commitment of our members and the mountains common to both geographic areas.
Mountain United FC is pleased to announce our Technical Staff and Team Coach appointments for the inaugural BC Premier Soccer League season. New BC Soccer Premier League Franchises Awarded Today

BC Soccer Membership approves rule changes ushering in formation of new High Performance League
As part of the introducton of their new High Perfomance League, BC Soccer conveniened a Special General Meeting to vote on changes to the Rules that would be necessary
for the success of the new program. The changes to Rule 23 have a potenial impact at all levels of play thruought the Province:
"Player transfers to a BC Soccer HPL team shall not be limited except that no player may compete in more than one Provincial Cup or play for more than one team in any Provincial Cup. Player eligibility will be governed by Rule 28 and the exceptions provided to Rule 23 regarding out-of-district transfers, which will be waived at the level of the HPL."
