All North Vancouver Grass fields are closed, use the All Weather Alternates.

To check for weather-related Field Closures:

The NVRec Fields website can be found here, http://www.northvanrec.com/facilities/fields/policies-conditions/locations-conditions.aspx.  This website is maintained by NVRec during the weekdays (M-F).  It is not updated on the weekend.  For weekend updates, your teams should keep in touch with the DNV Twitter account, @DNVFields.  The weekend crew will tweet field updates, closures and other information.  The @DNVFields twitter feed is also available on the NVRec Fields website above.

 

 

Safe Alternatives for Handshaking During Flu Season

Evaluations Info Meetings for Coaches, Managers & Coordinators

We are going to hold a pre-evaluation sessions to go over all aspects of the upcoming end of season evaluations and team formation process. We strongly encourage at least one or two current NVFC coaches/managers per team and coordinators from the age groups identified below to attend as this will help all of us be properly organized going into evaluations as well as outline the roles and responsibilities for all involved.

Date: Monday January 26th

Location: Delbrook Community Center, in the Cedar Room, North Building

Times:

- Current U10 and U11 Boys: 7:00pm

- Current U12 and U13 Boys: 8:15pm

Date: Thursday January 29th

- Current U8 Boys: 7:00pm to 8:00pm (Head Coach and AGCs only please)

Location: Delbrook Community Center,Tamarack Room

- Current U14 to U17 Boys: 8:15pm to 9:30pm

Location: Delbrook Community Center,Tamarack Room

U-20 World Cup Qualifer Starts Saturday January 10

North Van's Alex Comsia will be part of Canada's MU20 team playing in the qualifier in Montego Bay, Jamaica as they seek a spot in the the FIFA U-20 World Cup New Zealand 2015. Here's the announcement:

Code of Ethics and Team Behaviour

The North Shore Youth Soccer Association has requested that all team officials, players and parents read these two documents concerning conduct and ethics.  Although these are 4-District League documents they apply to all soccer.
